Appearance

NEXT TIME YOU THINK OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS,
DON'T FORGET TO COUNT YOURSELF IN.

At first glimpse, Amanitaberry's distinctive verdant gaze is noteworthy in discrepancy to her vibrant pelage, as a remarkable orangish-brown, equivalent to a tiger. Her visage is nearly identical to the luscious forest green that envelopes the tree's branches during Newleaf and Greenleaf. Aside from the vibrancy in her appearance, there is very limited white embellishing her fur. The only white appears faintly around her gaze and more prevailing amongst her muzzle. Amanitaberry's pelage is astonishingly velutinous, possessing the typical sleek characteristic Bengals harbored. The damsel has light alabaster adorning her chest, toes, and legs, constructing a creamy orange pigment. Across her chest and right below her chin is singular umber stripes, pursued by ebony stripes shrouding her forearms, descending with unusual delicately positioned spotting. Jet black fur runs from the back of her nape to the tip of her rear end, producing an uncommon complexion for a Bengal. As commonly seen, she retains ordinary spotted markings, shaded with umber and mocha-brown. With faded spotting alongside her abdomen, there is white depressing the vibrancy of her orange pigment, illustrating the similar creamy hue displayed across her chest.

Quick description: A lengthy orange-brown bengal she-cat with bright green eyes and a white jaw.

Personality

EMPATHY IS THE MEDICINE
THE WORLD NEEDS

Amanitaberry would probably be seen from an outside perspective as the motherly type, which is, for the most part, true. The warrior is exceptionally PATIENT, but she accumulated tolerance over time, considering she raised three kits independently. Patience is a virtue, after all, and it's something she acquired via her tumultuous kits, considering they were always on their paws, ready to get into trouble. Amanitaberry is a very SUPPORTIVE mademoiselle, conveying her knowledge and wisdom with those amidst herself, preferring empathy over critique. She disseminates her time and stamina to simply anyone, even if it's a mere stranger. She'd be inclined to offer a loner or rogue guidance, but at the same time, she may not be unless she believes there's something good within them. The damsel possesses a sufficient intuition. Considering she's consistently concerned about the mentality of others, she finds herself quite ATTENTIVE, devouring time scrutinizing others' emotional states and attempting to view things from their perspective. She's adequate at identifying concerns within other individuals, immediately trying to be the shoulder to lean on without addressing the circumstances thoroughly. She is relatively easy to trust, as numerous would entrust their mother. The molly is LOYAL, never dividing her loyalty to the clan or her clanmates. Most likely, she'd never turn her back against anyone other than an outsider. She isn't only loyal to her clanmates but loyal to any ideas she's imagined, dedicating herself to them and others.

RELUCTANT. Very reluctant, this damsel is. Amanitaberry is exceedingly unwilling to alter; perhaps, if another endeavored to comment she lacks the protection of her sentiments, she would allow those words to go in one ear and out the other. She believes change isn't necessary, wanting those to be who they've become. The she-cat is METICULOUS, delivering attention to the minor bits of detail to the point where she appears to be a perfectionist, though she certainly isn't one. Circumspection and precision are deemed essential to the molly, avoiding absent components, whether it's something she esteems or an individual expressing. An acceptable warrior she was, but also not entirely. She's not quick to defend her territory; instead, she preferred to talk things out rather than conflict. This she-cat is undoubtedly PASSIVE, permitting others to go without a quarrel. She isn't a tremendous fanatic of violence, but never will she attack first. Remaining civil is more of Amanitaberry's style; certainly not brutality, unless the enemy has accomplished something horrendous, such as the murder of one of her clanmates.

Amanitaberry is somewhat REPRESSED; well, technically, she quashed her emotions. She may seem sheltered and confidential, but she internalizes her feelings, not authorizing them to break through. Amanitaberry puts her sentiments behind herself, prioritizing others before her. She lacked the concept of protecting herself emotionally, as she was constantly worrying about others. Her concern for others often leads her into a pit of frustration and stress. Unfortunately, Amanitaberry is excessively ALTRUISTIC. Of course, being selfless is not terrible, but Amanitaberry has overridden unselfishness to a point where it's too unselfish. A sweetheart with an intimidating size and face, always hoping that things are bound to get better eventually, pushing others to strive. Amanitaberry is SECRETIVE, not in a disloyal way, but with her thoughts and feelings. She's frequently at war with them since she's engaged in guarding others, not her well-being. She's not transparent, as she disguises these things with ease. Infrequently, someone would witness her displaying emotion other than joy and enthusiasm.

Backstory

AS LONG AS THERE IS LOVE AND MEMORY,
THERE IS NO TRUE LOSS.

BIRTH
Amanita was born to Oyster and Enoki, two kittypets who lived in Emerald City with their affectionate and devoted two-leg. The she-kit had two siblings, a brother and a sister named Morel and Russula. The three kits were squirmy and vibrant, constantly mewing at their mother for her lukewarm milk. Neither of the kits was born unhealthy, as the two-leg had numerous Bengal pairs he bred, though it was Oyster and Enoki's first litter. Due to the number of felines, the three kits were constantly socialized, as their two-leg was determined to breed the best pedigree conceivable of the Bengal breed. Oyster and Enoki felt concerned that their kittens were bound to be purchased at some point, stressed about the thought. Oyster and Enoki would prepare them for the outside world as they age.

KITHOOD
At three moons, Amanita, Morel, and Russula declared that they'd be for breeding when they were old, alongside their parents Enoki and Oyster. However, Oyster and Enoki didn't desire to see their children grow in such conditions, as it wasn't a vibrant lifestyle. Oyster had known a feline that roamed in the clans, someone that bachelor had been best friends with as he formally served the Kittypet life himself. Their father would tell them stories about his dear friend who aided this thing known as a Clan. Because of this, Oyster suppressed an abundance of knowledge on the topic, initially apprehensive about discussing the idea of his children accomplishing the same. Amanita had appeared to be the most interested, as Morel and Russula complained that the life seemed too restricting. On the other paw, Amanita couldn't help but imagine the possibilities and diversity of the Clan, meeting all sorts of felines.

Oyster explained the ranks as the leader in the highest, shadowed by their second-in-command, the deputy. The most influential position that appealed to Amanita was the medicine cat, as she hadn't preferred the idea of violence unless necessary. Below these higher ranks were warriors and apprentices, followed by senior warriors and elders. Amanita recalled when Oyster had mentioned a clan known as StellerClan, a Clan that possessed the skies amongst Silverpelt. They were the other Clan's ancestors and where the deceased vanished to watch over their loved ones. The thought of it all intrigued the damsel, as she couldn't help but ask plenty of questions, some that her father couldn't answer. Oyster prayed that his kits would want to leave this place and live their lives more freely. Little did he know, Amanita would be the only one to find herself in a Clan; meanwhile, Russula and Morel would choose life as a loner. No matter what decisions anyone made in life, she'd support them because that's the type of being she happened to be, and this would only emphasize over the next few moons. When his kits would turn six moons, he'd begin to teach them to hunt, climb, swim, and fight, followed by agility training..

APPRENTICESHIP
When the three kits reached six moons, it was time their father and mother began training them, much like the clans did with a warrior and apprentice. Oyster focused primarily on combat and hunting, as they were vital to survival in the region outside of Emerald City. When their two-leg would allow them outside, Oyster and Enoki would travel with their kits to the clans' lands, preparing their children for the worst-case scenarios. It was nervewracking for Enoki to experience her kits in training with their father and herself, as she wasn't keen to let them go. They trained their kits for three moons, teaching them the basics of survival before allowing them to set loose. It was a devastating moment for their parents and the children. However, some were ecstatic about exploring their lonesome and beginning a new chapter in their life. For about a week and a half, the siblings traveled before finalizing goodbyes since Amanita had been the only one who desired to join a clan.

The three dispersed, and Amanita strayed into SaberClan territory, discovered by Ivystar, who was desperate for more felines to battle in the warfare. However, Amanita hadn't understood much about this, only finding the information when she'd been openly welcomed into the clan. It was strange, as she reeked of a kittypet. Amanita's appearance flabbergasted a prominent her clanmates. Ivystar announced the kittypet's arrival, quickly anointing her as Amanitapaw, no questions asked. It was unusual, and it had broken the code, the code Amanitapaw was somewhat knowledgable about due to her father's stories. The very tom had been residing in SaberClan, known as Ryewhisper. When Amanitapaw was announced as an apprentice, she was immediately assigned a mentor. Amanitapaw was assigned with a senior warrior whose name was Wrenfeather, a brown tabby she-cat. She was a graceful feline with delicate features and a long, lean physique. She was not a tiny cat but rather lengthy and dapper. She didn't have prominent muscles, but her figure was athletic, and it was transparent this feline understood how to move. Amanitapaw was eager, comprehending that agility was always a great thing, and it'd be good to learn how to navigate such a large stature like hers.

When her training had first begun, Amanitapaw was stumbling over her paws, unable to keep up with the speed of Wrenfeather's training style. However, this only made her more determined, eventually getting the gist of how her training worked and heeded with speed. She appreciated a challenge, and that's what Wrenfeather was constantly projecting in the damsel's direction. After training sessions, she'd visit her siblings, and the three would converse about their lives and how it was proceeding. Amanitapaw's training got easier as she learned and progressed with her mentor. Wrenfeather would often speak to her apprentice about what she figured about the future and how Amanitapaw would go about it. Amanitapaw would occasionally imagine different scenarios considering Wrenfeather asked this question at least once or twice every moon. She wasn't complaining, finding it reasonable to think about her future, and Wrenfeather invariably kept it in front of her crania. Wrenfeather eventually addressed Amanitapaw's concern that she had a son currently in conditioning and two moons older than Amanitapaw. Wrenfeather had set up a training session with her son, Eaglepaw, with his mentor to train herself and Wrenfeather.

Almost immediately, the two got along; finally, having a friend beside her siblings was a good start. Eaglepaw was a slightly larger than average tabby, characterized by beautiful azure luminaries. Amanitapaw and Eaglepaw had started to have sessions together more often, opening up to each other and telling each other about everything they could share. The pair become good friends, or more so, best friends. The training wasn't only challenging, and it had become more enjoyable but also more exhausting. Over the moons, these two only continued to grow more fond of each other. It appeared that Amanitapaw was beginning to form a bit of a crush on Wrenfeather's son.

Amanitapaw had been a bit sheepish, starting to become more sheepish and nervous around Eaglepaw, which brought Wrenfeather and Lynxpaw to a talk. It was as if she was becoming more distracted during training sessions when Eaglepaw was along for the journey. When Amanitapaw confessed that she was distracted by Eaglepaw, Wrenfeather couldn't help but chuckle and encourage Amanitapaw's feelings. Wrenfeather would sometimes tease Amanitapaw on the matter, but it was clear she approved of the situation, even if it meant Amanitapaw was slightly unfocused. At twelve moons, Eaglepaw had told Amanitapaw to sneak off with him into the territory, which is what they had precisely gone and done. Confused, Amanitapaw questioned Eaglepaw on the matter as to why they had snuck out into the domain in the first place.

Eaglepaw wasn't quick to the point, as the tom was a bit nervous. Eventually, the words slipped, and he confessed he had felt something more with Amanitapaw. Considering the two were young, they didn't want to be labeled "mates" just yet. The two agreed that they'd make the title official after their vigil of silence. A few moons later, the two had been called about for their warrior ceremony after hard work. Fortunately, her brothers had their warrior ceremony at the same time as Amanitapaw, so none of the siblings would be left behind.

WARRIORHOOD
At sixteen moons, the three siblings plus Eaglepaw were renamed for their warrior ceremony. Amanitapaw was named Amanitaberry for her sweet soul and loyalty toward SaberClan despite her origins. Eaglepaw was renamed Eaglenose for his ability to track and hunt. Amanitaberry had gone to her parents, officially introducing Eaglenose to the pair, wishing she could tell Eaglenose about her siblings. Amanitaberry had a rather ordinary, dutiful life when she was made a warrior, doing plenty of patrols. She enjoyed being a warrior, hunting patrols being her favorite, considering she'd prefer not to resort to violence. Some border patrols resort to that, and that's her most minor favorite thing; violence. That fear will worsen as she ages; she doesn't know it yet. Amanitaberry had been made a mentor at twenty-three moons, taking on her apprentice named Sagepaw. Eaglenose was assigned a tiny molly whose name was Minnowpaw. Of course, most of their training sessions combined since Amanitaberry wanted to spend time with her mate, and this was the easiest way until she was free from mentoring an apprentice.

Mentoring took up a lot of time, so she was sure to make enough training sessions combined to spend time with Eaglenose but often did some alone to get to know her apprentice better. Sagepaw was a good listener and learner, so it was relatively simple to train the feline. Given no trouble, the apprentice was successful and became a warrior quite early. At just eleven moons, Sagepaw was renamed for his warrior ceremony, which was Sage's last for Amanitaberry. It appeared her now former apprentice was only interested in training and not getting to know the feline who put effort and time into training the other. It frustrated her, but she could do nothing about it, allowing it to be let go. About five moons after her first mentorship, Amanitaberry had realized her abdomen had begun to enlarge and widen. The feline decided to visit the nursery, being informed that she was pregnant with kits. A queen? She was a queen.

Amanitaberry was joyful but, at the same time, nervous, feeling unprepared to be a mother. She was still relatively young, but with Wrenfeather, she should be able to get through mothering properly. When they're born, mothering should come with instinct, or that's what her mother always said. The first feline Amanitaberry knew she had to inform her mate, Eaglenose. Upon the news, Eaglenose was all over his significant other, proud that he's a to-be father to Amanitaberry's kits. Next, she found her ex-mentor, Wrenfeather, and explained the news. Last, she found herself telling her siblings and parents, who congratulated her on the matter. Before Eaglenose and Amanitaberry knew it, she was birthing her very own kittens, delivering three.

There were two silver kits and a brown Bengal, much like her pelt. She named the three kittens, Scaldkit, Dewkit, and Tidekit. All three kits were born healthy and quite large, Dewkit being the smallest. The largest was Scaldkit, the tom, while Tidekit was the kit in between, more average-sized than the other two. As her mother once said, mothering came pretty easy to the Bengal, enjoying the company of her kittens. Soon, their eyes opened, and they began to use their words, joy radiating from the young mother, Amanitaberry, and father, Eaglenose. The pair were astounded by their children, excited to raise their young together happily. The playful kits eventually hit six moons; of course, everyone knows what that means. They were being apprenticed and renamed Scaldpaw, Dewpaw, and Lochpaw. The three apprentices were assigned mentors, all relatively experienced warriors.

About four moons into her growing apprentice's training, one stormy night struck the clan, and Amanitaberry was unlucky. One late night, the apprentices decided to sneak away from camp into the territory. Amanitaberry was sleeping heavily but awakened after a nightmare. The nightmare was similar to the situation occurring. Amanitaberry became frantic, waking her mate Eaglenose to comfort her. Eaglenose suggested he'd check the apprentice's den, leaving Amanitaberry momentarily. When he returned, he was alert; his tail bristled as he stated their kits were missing. She warned others, and the leader sent out a patrol to find the lost kits. Amanitaberry felt stupid for not wakening sooner, not wanting to relinquish her babies. Where did they go? The mademoiselle rushed around with Eaglenose, the pair finally stumbling upon a lead. There was blood. Was it too late?

Amanitaberry and Eaglenose tracked down their kits, halting in place when they came upon a bloodied scene. There was one physique limp, and the neck was snapped, claws raked on the abdomen and trachea of the kit. Amanitaberry identified the kit as Scaldpaw, a harsh yowl escaping her maw. Her baby was dead. She looked to the large cat, watching a now-deceased Lakepaw dropping from the mandibles of the murderer. She scowled, lunging forward as she watched Lochpaw scramble to the safety of his father. Amanitaberry missed the attack, feeling claws raking her cheek. This tom wasn't someone to mess with, anxiety filling her embodiment as she felt weaker. She lost two of her kits. She felt irresponsible and could only blame herself for the losses.

Eaglenose demanded Amanitaberry return to camp with Tidepaw before he was gone too. Without hesitation or argument, Tidepaw agreed and sprinted back to camp for the safety of her last kit. Unfortunately, at Tidepaw's age, Amanitaberry knew the young tom would remember the deaths of his siblings, witnessing their anguish and hearing them perish. Once safe, all Amanitaberry could do was close her eyes, and the memory of her deceased kits lying on the terrain continued to flash in her brain. All she could see were her dead kittens lying there, utterly traumatized. The following news would be even worse, the patrol returning with a limp, bloody body from a horrific battle. The feline was dead, but the mourning would be the worst for Amanitaberry; right before she was her dead mate and father to Tidepaw, Eaglenose. He died seeking revenge for his children.

Amanitaberry collapsed to the terra firma, unable to comprehend anything at the moment. She lost her kits and mate, only retaining Tidepaw left. She wanted to raise these kits with her mate, but the unknown feline took that away. Everything was taken but Tidepaw. She swore on her own life and Tidepaw's to protect him with everything she had. She wouldn't stand to lose another she loved. She wouldn't be able to live with the thoughts, as she blunders enough. Amanitaberry spent moons mourning over her kits and mate, struggling to do simple duties. She failed to hunt successfully and didn't want to participate in anything, though she knew she had to do so.

PRESENT DAY
As Amanitaberry aged, she became increasingly worried about her son, insanely protective of the tom. Recently, Tidepaw was named Tideflare, a determined and fierce sire he was. Amanitaberry was relieved and proud to witness her soon grow and become a warrior, though she wished she could see his brother and sister become a warrior alongside Tideflare. She knew Tideflare would've also made Eaglenose proud, desiring to ask StellerClan if Eaglenose was proud. Amanitaberry attempted not to think of the worst, wanting to move on from memories. For her, it hasn't been effortless since she saw one kit murdered before her eyes while the sight delivered her mate and another that they were dead.

To this day, Amanitaberry is still tight about losing her kits and mate, so questioning her on that wouldn't go over so hot.

🖤💛🧡

"I'm strong; I can stand alone and take care of everything I need to... so all I need from this is a sense of mutual love and nurture. I want someone with me when the sun gives way to the stars and when it returns to reignite the colors of the sun-up. Be my rest, be my Sunday best and together will be each other's comfort in any storm. To be strong is my choice. Strong isn't being free of fear, quite the opposite. Strong is seeing all the issues and problems with no self deception, no soft filters. It is feeling the anxiety in full measure, acknowledging the fear, and still making the right choices. It is owning your own errors and using them to make yourself a better person. It means going forwards doing your very best for others, considering the self at a lower priority. Yet at times it takes true strength to look after oneself too; if to carry on would leave a you unable to care for those you hold most dear, a change to care for the self is brave and right. We are all born to survive, to protect those we love, to be the angels of our better natures. All of this is strength. Know it. Be strong too. I believe in you." - Amanitaberry.
