She's not as scheming as her brother Timberfire, but she's not slow on the uptake by any means. She also shares her brother's diplomatic side. She's very logical and cool-headed, and most definitely puts her clan above herself, as is evident by her exiling her brother and taking her former leader's last life. She's calculating, but also soft-hearted to the plights of her clanmates, and does her very best to be a good leader for her clan. However, she can be a bit naive in certain situations, and sometimes second-guesses herself. Description: Rainstar is a semi-large pale grey longhaired shecat with darker patches of cream and darkker grey tabby marked fur, mostly on her face and paws. She sports a deep scar on her neck.Size: Rainstar is larger than some, standing at 17in in height, 37in in length and 24lbs. Build: Rainstar is built with the muscle of a trained clan cat, but has a lithe grace to her as well, showing off her lean muscle under her long fur. Scars: Rainstar has one scar, it's on her neck and is deep and ugly. Disabilities: None Weaknesses: Rainstar isn't really built for fighting. She's also Surprisingly weak to ailments and can't move well in tight spaces. Strengths: Her lithe form makes her great at ambush attacks, and she can move relatively silently through the forest. Rainstar was born with her littermates as one of the first generations of Saberclan to be born into the clan rather than join it. She was always ambitious to a point, believing that the war she was born into was nonsense and shouldn't be happening, and never could understand why Ivystar continued to fight, and continued to threaten the clan. She spent her kithood listening to her elders and warriors and parents talk about the tragedy, and decided she would do something about it.Not wanting her clanmates to be stuck in this war, Rainstar, Rainpaw at the time, worked for her whole apprenticeship to be the best she could be for the clan. She worked on her interpersonal skills and anxiety, and did her best to fufill all the clan's needs. Recieving her warrior name in record time, mostly due to the need for strong fighters in the war, Rainshadow took to the battlefield, being one of the most successful at leading her team of ambush attackers in the forest. For moons, she protected her clan as best she could, but they were still losing warriors and apprentices, and Ivystar was just getting further and further into losing her mind. At 20 moons, Rainshadow was appointed as deputy in a rushed meeting on the battlefield, while standing over the body of the former deputy, Reedfeather. That night, while she was appointed to the position of the cat whose blood washed over her paws, she launched a fierce surprise attack on Ivystar. They were alone, Reedfeather's body the only one who hadn't left for camp yet, and in the rain and loud storm, the new Deputy and the Insane leader clashed, lightning striking as Rainshadow slashed heavily at Ivystar's neck. The leader managed to plant her hooked claws in her deputy's fur, however, and on the ground underfoot, which was slick with rain and blood, she attempted to take Rainshadow's head clean off, but only managed to get a deep gouge in her skin. Rainshadow took the opportunity while her leader was off balance to lunge forward and tear her throat out with her teeth, the larger shecat standing over the spotted leader as her last life faded, sending her into the Pit, or so Rainshadow wished. Rainshadow then limped her way back to camp, telling the clan that a Coyoteclan ambush had gotten to the weakened, morning leader and the new deputy, and she had only managed to save herself. After one glance back over her shoulder, she assumed the leadership role, and along with Alderstar and ---star, ended the long, bloody war. Now she leads her clan fairly, and with the new prophecy on the horizon, she's gearing up for another battle in the near future. Rainstar is a leader, and will therefore be invested in her clan's interest first.  |
