Weaknesses: Polleneyes is not the brightest, he focuses on his brute strength and does not think things out and acts reckless in battle. His larger size makes him unable to move in smaller spaces.
Strengths: Polleneyes packs a punch. He is a muscular tom and while he's large and not as agile as some, he hits hard.

Personality (Overall): Brave, lovable and helpful, this tom is everything wrapped into one. He welcomes anyone and everyone into his heart, and has a love for his clan that could be compared to no one. A kind and nurturing nature overall, Polleneyes loves helping the younger generation find their way, and helping them in any way he can. Polleneyes while selfless is a bit naive in the fact that he doesn't often think that others will take advantage of him for his kind heart. While Polleneyes holds a certain confidence to him, he is extremely insecure about himself. He doesn't believe he does enough, and he doesn't feel as if he's good enough. Making up for this he tries to be as helpful as possible, offering his help to anyone in the clan that may need it.

Beehive and Deershine were loyal warriors of Saberclan. They were roughly around the same age when they became warriors and had previously trained together as apprentices. The development of becoming mates was not a surprise to anyone in the clan, they had expected as much from the two cats that had grown up together and always been found together. Deershine was soon announced pregnant at 30 moons old with Beehive's kits. They were elated that she was pregnant, and the medicine cat told them that they were going to be healthy from the way Deershine's belly swelled. Soon, the molly gave birth to two beautiful kits. Pollenkit and Nectarkit. Each looking like either of their parents. Pollenkit resembled his father the most with dark russet fur that was nothing more than a fuzzball at a young age. His sister took on the coloration of their mother, still looking similar to their father as well, being a more cream colored molly.

Pollenkit and Nectarkit grew up in a loving family. Their mother and father doted on them both equally. However, it seemed Beehive took a special interest in his daughter, knowing she would grow up to do wonderful thing. Deershine would always tell Pollenkit that his father was simply making sure Nectarkit had the attention she deserved, and that Beehive simply knew that Pollenkit would grow up to be a wonderful warrior already and didn't need to assure the young kit of his place in their clan. Pollenkit believed his mother, she had no reason to lie to him of course. That's what he believed whenever Nectarkit would get to spend more time with their father.

They soon became apprentices. Pollenpaw was given the mentor Runningleap, a hard working tom that was aiming to be the best warrior. Pollenpaw's overall bright attitude was mostly a facade once he realized that Beehive had requested to mentor his sister, and was given that honor. Why had his father not looked his way since he was born? Deershine was quick to say that she would have loved to mentor Pollenpaw but their leader was not willing to do that for them. It was a lie from her, but he didn't know any better. He wanted to trust his mother. And so he did, training with Runningleap and become a strong tom that grew into a handsome young cat as he became a warrior.

Given the name Polleneyes - eyes being a bright yellow and being what their leader deemed as an acceptable name for him - he worked hard to provide for his clan. Nectarpaw was named Nectarbreeze, a wonderful name for his sister. As they sat vigil, he wondered if this would be the time that his father would recognize him for all his hard work. As their vigil came to an end and they would start their warrior duties, Polleneyes would find that his father had chosen his sister once again. A slight bitterness grew in him, but he knew that he couldn't think that of his sister.

Beehive's pride in his daughter seemed to only drive her away as Nectarbreeze woke Polleneyes. She apologized to him under the gaze of a full moon, saying that father had always loved her better, and she wasn't sure why. She revealed that she had been secretly seeing a loner, and was pregnant with his kits. She was going to leave, but she hoped that he could rekindle his relationship with his father in some way when she left. That was the last time that he saw his sister, knowing that he had kin out there that was half-clan. His father had been devastated, Deershine as well but she urged the father and son to spend time together while they grieved. Beehive just simply did not see his son in the light that he did his daughter, and turned his back on his son.

Polleneyes worked hard, and soon he became deputy of the clan after he gained Saffronpaw as his apprentice. Although his father wouldn't bat an eye, his mother had congratulated him. She had fallen ill and was constantly in the medicine cat den in excruciating pain. The molly would pass with Polleneyes curled up at her side, his father no where to be seen. The medicine cat said that it was something internal, nothing they could figure out how to solve. Polleneyes grieved for his mother and the death of his mother hit Beehive hard enough that the tom fell into a deep depression. Beehive would pass away not too long after his mate, taken by grief to join Stellarclan. Polleneyes had not grieved as much for his father as he did his mother. Simply because the male had proven that he did not love Polleneyes as he had Nectarbreeze, and a deep sense of insecurity set in for the young tom.

Saffronpaw would become a warrior, known as Saffronstorm. The young molly was wonderful and a ball of light in Polleneyes' world. She had lost her father at a young age, so he had stepped in and become a type of fatherly figure for her to look up to. Although with his insecurity, he didn't think he was good enough for that.
