Careful: Saph can certainly be considered a very cautious she-cat. Due to her owner's frequent travels, she does have experience in many different environments; hoewver, she has never come close to mastering the different dangers and exploits each location can bring. Experience has only taught her that unique dangers can lie anywhere, and has since trained herself to stay alert of everything constantly. This can lead to tense first meetings with other cats, especially since Saph often has low expectations of strange cats. A well-mannered or polite cat can genuinely catch her off guard. However, once a strange cat regards her with peaceful intentions, Saph can be very friendly, respectful, and aloof. Very cautious yet extremely keen to not show it, she may seem relaxed and composed, confident and knowledgeable, even while asking questions and probing for knowledge.

Self-Aware: Saph is very plainly aware that she is an outsider in strange lands, and aims to make a strong first impression on whatever neighbors she may have to become accustomed to.

Solitary: But as a whole, Saph does not mind the loner lifestyle. Prior experiences gave her the belief that cats were meant to be mostly solitary. Though she will never look down on other cats for a more social lifestyle, she may be more inclined to live alone at first. Determined to not make enemies, but not immensely experienced at making friends either.

Non-confrontational: Prefers the ambush hunter approach; Saph can wait and watch for many hours, having learned patience through her youth. This patience can come off as indifference toward others, especially as Saph would find herself inclined to be more neutral in most given situations. Preferring not to take a side or involve herself in matters that doesn't concern her; yet curious enough to listen and investigate. Her cautious and neutral approach can lead Saph to avoid conflicts as a whole.

Determined: Very private and secretive about what she really wants. Deep down, Saph fully intends on becoming a mother to several different litters. None of her kits from her first litter had survived, and the experience taught her to take the responsibility of motherhood very seriously. Convinced that her kittypet lifestyle was not helping, she resolved to find a new home. A small territory of her own, and an encounter with a tom-cat was all she needed- but finding the right home has proven challenging for her. Although Saph can put on an act of indifference and laziness, every moment her eyes are scanning hopefully for a suitable home.

00 - 03 MOONS
Saph had been born to two other kittypets, her father unknown and mother never stating a name, yet easily identifiable by the bell attached to her collar. The meeting did not occur by chance, but rather by their Two-legs hoping to produce more Ragdoll cats. The small cat family did not know or care of this detail, however. They were well provided for with comfortable shelter, food and water. Saph and her siblings went unnamed at this time and spent all of their time with their mother. Although quiet and aloof, Saph's mother was dedicated, patient, and experienced, quickly adored by all of her kits.

03 MOONS
Young Saph's carefree kit days is abruptly interrupted when her smallest sister simply never wakes up one day. Even more astonishing was her mothers stony, seemingly indifferent reaction. "I shed no tears." Saph remembered her mother saying with a hauntingly uncaring tone, "But all of the dead deserve a name... Little Paw. Remember your sister's name. Your thoughts keep her from drowning on the other side." Saph did her best to internalize this lesson even with her young age. Unenthusiastic yet patient, her mother taught all of the kits of the ghosts and reflections of cats that passed away, insisting that they show respect to all passed cats, even those that seemed undeserving of being remembered.

04 MOONS
A 'sleeping sickness' seemed to run in their family... Saph and her remaining siblings were unfortunate enough to find their mother unmoving and still one day, just like Little Paw. Both losses left a prominent impact on the young kit. Through her grief, she was able to remember the one gift her mother left the dead; a name. "I'll call you Ring because of the nice noise you always made, and I won't forget you, Mother."

04 - 6 MOONS
These moons were a blur of movement for Saph. After the loss of their mother, their Two-legs took the kittens to new places for reasons they couldn't discern. Gradually, Saph found she was forced to say abrupt goodbyes as her remaining brother and sister were given away to other Two-legs. She watched as her siblings interacted and played with the Two-legs, and was surprised to see both of them awarded with names before vanishing forever. Domino and Angel. Although she didn't understand the meaning behind these names, she would remember them nonetheless, in case her siblings ever die...

6 - 15 MOONS
Saph finds her Two-leg. A stick-shaped human with a dark, long pelt on her head that is always smelling of chalk. The Two-leg granted her the name 'Sapphire', though Saph only came to understand and gradually accept the shortened version of the name due to it's more frequent use. Early on she was keen to demand her space from the Two-leg, and was pleasantly surprised when the feelings were reciprocated. Saph was delighted to find that her Two-Leg not only offered her space, but even a door of her very own! She discovered the Outside, and gradually came to learn it's Ways as moons passed.

16 - 20 MOONS
Saph enters a very comfortable yet enriching routine. Lounging in her Two-leg's nest at day, roaming the Outside at night. Her frequent trips through the Outside were eventful, including numerous encounters with other cats, Most encounters are unfriendly. An especially violent scrape reminds her of her dependency on the Two-leg that owns their nest. Saph strives to avoid other cats; however, one chance encounter with a tom-cat left her expecting a litter.

22 MOONS
Saph's first kittens were very unexpected, but a very welcome prospect. The day they arrived, however, they turned out to be stillborn. Saph was devastated. Dot and Stripes will be remembered, she vowed.

22 - 30 MOONS
Saph's Two-leg began to travel. Moons passed as Saph explored numerous different Two-leg nests, but could never stay in one territory for very long before they moved once again. She spends this time exploring and learning as much as she could, carefully learning and avoiding dangers.

30 MOONS
Despite her comfortable routine, Saph finally resolved to strive for more. Her Two-leg moved them once again, and this time, Saph's explorations have become focused, full of intent. Following the whispers and rumors of cats that lead her outside of the Two-leg nests she'd grown used to exploring.
