Appearance Summary • Enormous white she-cat with black all throughout with bright orangish yellow eyes.
Overall Appearance

It could probably start an argument, depicting Sootnose's actual color. She perhaps bears a black overcoat with white throughout, but it's quite the opposite. It's a unique pelt to describe, considering the ebony and alabaster intermix throughout her entire pelage, creating a diverse pigmentation. Sootnose's white coloration peeks through the black mostly in her chest, abdomen, under her tail, and the tip of it. The white and black appear to have grey in between the areas where her predominant colors are expressed. Looking past her colors, the following notable feature would be her behemoth, herculean body. Sootnose's physique can be a barricade when slipping through small spaces, so she must find more open space. What sticks out the most, from a close-up perspective, would probably be her distinctive orangish-yellow visage. She sticks out amongst most; there's no bypassing such a feline with remarkable attributes.

Overall Personality •

Sootnose is a very meticulous molly, being sure to pay close attention to her surroundings and those amidst her. Anything around her, in general, she must get a good look at. Sootnose enjoys observing and taking notes for herself about others and things. Any information she can gather typically has its importance. She is cautious not to make a mistake by missing anything she might deem important, otherwise mission failed. Sootnose finds herself to be invulnerable, painstaking her missions and ideas or plans precisely and carefully. She isn't immoral, obviously, but more so invulnerable emotionally and mentally. It is very challenging to damage the she-cat's fractured brain more than what has been done. Sootnose is a systematic feline, doing everything according to plan and in a methodical order he situated before present circumstances. She always assures her plans are thought out accordingly, making wise and cautious decisions. She's clever when it comes to escaping a situation she needs to slip away from. She tries to avoid getting herself into anything she can't handle. With that being said, believe it or not, she is humble. Sootnose is intelligent when it comes to her prey, she is careful with her actions, observing movements and expressions in order to identify possible intentions of another, and then...she strikes, or, she slinks back into the shadows. She doesn't brag on her technique, not approving of huge egos. Sure, Sootnose is confident and can often overestimate her own ability, but it happens more rarely than often that this occurs.

A competitive bachelorette, she is. Sootnose will not go down easy in a fight as soon as it's officially settled. She adores and obsesses over a good brawl, unable to restrain herself once the beast is unleashed from her chains. She enjoys using her mass to her advantage, alongside her heavy paws. Having a way with her words, the russet damsel is hypnotic, easing her way in with a mask of charm and persuasive words. The mademoiselle sways others with her melodic, magnetic vocalizations that strike in a comforting yet mysterious way. It may strike curiousness in others, which can be dangerous with commitment. Sootnose's iconoclastic habits are due to the code she follows, or belief when it comes to prey (aka victims). She murders in the following; kits, father, mother, taking out families one by one. The reasoning for this is explained in her history. Sootnose has gone through a lot, leading her to be the way she is presently. Sootnose is committed to the idea of murder, obsessing over that more than anything else. It fills a satisfaction that she tells others he aches for. Disturbing, that is, she ignores the idea of love, not really having a view on love. Is love even worth it?

Sootnose is an envious growing murderer. The atramentous feline is envious of families who are able to grow and live happily. This is considering the she-cat was never able to enjoy these feelings herself. She is constantly seeking revenge, finding pleasure and no remorse in her activity. The molly might appear lonely on the outside, but she is genuinely content with her current life, obsessing over the act of murder. However, deep down, Sootnose misses the idea of love, as it made her feel alive and confident in anything. She felt powerful without the urge to kill. Considering Sootnose was raised in a diverse way, she is misguided, taking her beliefs and ruining others' lives with them. His morals aren't pleasant ones, knowing his intentions might appear as a disgrace in the minds of others, but to her, it was now a gift and hobby she took on and favored. Yes, a hobby. Her murderous habits are something she has found almost impossible to resist, feeling that she might explode or completely lose her sanity if there's no bloodspill. She can barely go a moon without blood staining her pelage, mandibles, or paws. Fortunately, if Sootnose is stalking another to kill, she will step back (reluctantly) from a challenge if she can't compete with the opposing feline. Occasionally, her confidence can stand in the way, often making mistakes. These mistakes are made when she's realized a cat is much stronger than she figured. During these moments, the feeling of panic surges through her blood. Sootnose hates having to run, but will do so for the sake of her life and to continue her murderous habits. Her lust for blood has become unbelievable, unwilling to risk her life. Basically, she doesn't want to die so she can keep taking out others' lives. There are times when Sootnose struggles to fight against these urges to kill, but rarely can he compete against what he ached for. Sootnose is someone who obsesses over things that she labels as hers. It is a rule that she explains to others if another insists on befriending her, not to touch her belongings. Sootnose is possessive over anything she claims hers, as she will gladly go as far as murder, especially if it's a significant other. She has became this way over time of losing her loves, finding the world unfair. She often puts her emotional needs over others, as she can become quick to anger or upset, rarely meeting expectations from others due to her overwhelming neediness. She sure is clingy, but that's because she wants her special other to be safe. In her next relationship, she will grow to become more controlling in order to protect her future lover. Sadism finds its favor in Cardinal, as she's sadistic. He enjoys watching others suffers as he once did, making the death of others as brutal as possible. Cardinal is always sure to cause pain or suffering, psychologically and physically if possible. She enjoys giving others a long-term situation to remember. Much like his father, Sootnose grew to kill what she despised, which was joyous families who thrived. If someone were to fall for the gal, she'd probably be unable to detect this on her own, as the words would need to be bluntly stated. Sootnose barely understands the concept of love anymore, as her love for murder has become too large in her life. After the death of her mate and kits, it might be challenging to steal this she-cat's heart, but not impossible.

If somehow, Sootnose falls in love again, she is like a different feline. Toward those she truly cares for and loves, she is compassionate, able to understand and sense her significant others' emotions. Anyone who she is able to trust and love, she is careful not to lose them, but if they can't accept her murderous habits, she will gladly take them out as well. Her possessiveness often drives others away, but despite that, Sootnose is somehow gallant, providing time for her family and friends, being quite the family woman. However, as soon as she can, she is dragged away by what she aches for; murder. She is a good lover. As wild as it seems, Sootnose is unselfish when it comes to family, wanting to make sure they're the happiest they can be. Due to all her loss, she really is a decent fatherly figure, but that was all taken away from her.

the history

Kittenhood

Sootnose was born into EagleClan, named Sootkit by her parents, Nightwhisper and Shadepool. Her parents were a diverse pair, sticking out amongst the rest. Her father, Nightwhisper, was a mysterious, secretive tom, while Shadepool was a delicate and brittle feline with a good heart. A cold-blood and warm-blooded pair. Sootkit was born alongside Volekit and Dapplekit, with who she quickly grew fond of her siblings. As soon as her eyes were opened, she was quick to enjoy a brief tussle and roll with her siblings. Volekit, her brother, was the one he typically stuck around, considering Dapplekit was always off with other kits. Sootkit was hardly interested in baring a relationship with his siblings, being despondent to the world, almost lost in his feelings.

Around three moons, his father, Nightwhisper, had decided to have a short talk with the molly, explaining that friendships will be meaningful in the future, as loneliness and misery can come from significant independence. The she-cat's freedom was unbearable to witness to her parents, wanting to see their daughter flourish and become a respectable, dutiful warrior. Sootkit was quick to retort, complaining that she didn't want friends and couldn't see herself making any. Nightwhisper would scowl and occasionally bop her on the crown when no one was around to see. Sootkit wasn't appreciative of her father's actions toward her, wishing she could do more.

Sootkit's kittenhood was not the most impressive thing, as her father had to literally knock sense into her. Which didn't entirely work all that well. Friendships wouldn't ever become easy for Sootkit as he aged. She didn't enjoy the nursery very much, slipping out of it as much as possible, even though it occasionally caused some scolding when escaping at the wrong times. Nightwhisper would be the one to mostly scold her, leaving a few bruises every now and then. At five moons, Sootkit began to wonder why the other two were never punished, starting to learn what the feeling of anger was.

Apprenticeship:

Sootkit had been excited about his apprenticeship, wondering who her mentor would be. The damsel wasn't keen, as her kithood had stressed her. Sootkit was renamed Sootpaw in honor of her apprenticeship, being assigned to Yewbelly as her mentor. Yewbelly was a battle-scarred she-cat, about fifty moons or so. She was an excellent fighter, excelling in just about anything she learned. Yewbelly was a snarky feline, precise with every task she accomplished. Sootpaw felt her mentor would be challenging to please, and she certainly wasn't looking toward attempting to do so. The last thing she wanted to do was disappoint her mentor, but how hard could it really be? She'd have to find out for herself. After all, her parents wanted her to establish a successful life. But what if that's not what she wanted?

The first day of training wasn't too tricky, as it was just a questionnaire about herself and the rundown of the territory. Yewbelly practiced this for a few days, getting to know her apprentice and ensuring she understood the environment well. By the first week, Sootpaw knew the territory as if she's been alive for various moons as a senior warrior. The atramentous feline was trained to track down Yewbelly within the vast region within minutes, failing the first few times he attempted. Yewbelly counted everything, taking notes in her mind about her apprentice. Sootpaw was being broken down, and she hadn't even known it. Yewberry was intense. Her gaze always sent a shiver down Sootpaw's spine. The she-cat learned how to track quickly, that skill coming naturally to her, hence her future name.

Sootpaw's following focuses were agility and stamina. Yewbelly was sure to keep Sootpaw on her toes' training her to bound between rocks sticking out from the green river's shallow streams. Sootpaw learned to maintain a sturdy posture and positioning despite slippery rocks while leaping from rock to rock. She imagined this would come in handy and make leaping from branch to branch in trees easier. What's more challenging than jumping upon mossy and algae-covered rocks? Who knew. Sootpaw enjoyed the training, though she was quickly exhausted, finding Yewbelly's drills exhilarating. She never complained, though, which impressed her stern mentor. Yewbelly was always surprisingly stunned and impressed with Sootpaw's work and efforts.

During Sootpaw's apprenticeship, she showed disinterest in any type of affairs, whether in the direction of friendship or love. The molly didn't really understand what love was, thinking it was ridiculous to fall in love, especially when the feelings didn't reach her. She would continue to keep to herself, typically minding her own business within the clan. She would find herself bored with conversations with other apprentices, quick to leave them if she grew bored. This concerned her parents, especially her mother, Shadepool. Her mother would force her to find friends, scolding her if she noticed Sootpaw sneaked away. This would frustrate Sootpaw, making her feel a bit enraged. Occasionally, these bursts of anger would cause fierce arguments between the she-cat's mother and the apprentice herself. These arguments between her and her mother would utterly piss off her father, Nightwhisper. With this came more punishments, as the whacks became harder and caused more physical pain to the young molly. Occasionally, her father would even make her skip meals for being "an insensitive mouse-brain."

When Sootpaw was around ten moons, she had started to spend more time around other apprentices with the force of her mother on her rear. Sootpaw had barely begun to make a few friends (more-so acquaintances), but none of them interested her further. One evening, Sootpaw snaked away from camp, finding herself at Bird Lake. An unfamiliar aroma struck her nostrils; who she ran into wasn't an Eagleclanner. The tomcat was a young long-furred siamese that appeared to be a loner. Sootpaw couldn't help but smile, feeling bashful at the sight of such a pulchritudinous cat. She hadn't been interested in anyone until she bumped into him, quickly jumping into conversation with the loner. They had begun to converse, asking questions to one another. This loner's name was Badger, his colors somewhat representing that of a badger. The way her heart skipped beats when he gazed over her was a new feeling she would grow to adore.

After some time, Sootpaw would offer a goodbye and return to meet again sometime. This started to happen for moons, even until Sootpaw was named a warrior at thirteen moons.

Warriorhood:

The two would take turns explaining what their lives were like. Badger would sit back and remark about how lame and constricting the clan life sounded, making Sootnose more interested in what it was like outside the clans. She wondered if life would feel more accessible, not having to deal with doing duties and following the rules of a leader. She wished she could pursue her own rules, not wanting to oblige a leader. It didn't suit her. Sootnose grew curious and uncertain about her father's intentions more at this age. Something seemed off about Nightwhisper. It hadn't made enough sense yet for Sootnose to put the pieces together, so she decided to let it go for now. Sootnose continued to meet Badger, the two becoming open and close, eventually to the point where Sootnose's belly was going to drop. Sootnose would be a mother to a loner, and yet, she was still a part of the clan. Badger wasn't ecstatic, considering Sootnose had yet to leave EagleClan. Her fear of departing was due to the fact of disappointing her parents. She feared being beaten by her father. The beatings only grew worse as she aged, as her father would occasionally leave scars. It was as if she wasn't ready to let go of the clan life, but she figured she'd be free if she vacated. Sootnose wasn't sure of what do to yet. She was happy with her current life but stressed because she lived in the clan with her abusive parents and loved a loner, which was technically a forbidden relationship. She wasn't sure what would happen if she was caught. She was petrified.

Badger and Sootnose had a very yin-yang relationship that balanced out quite well. Despite her possessiveness, Badger hadn't minded it much, as his obsession with physical affection fit well. The two were a very close, physical couple, sharing tongues and keeping close to each other's flank. The way her relationship had been would form out her possessiveness even more as she aged, and into her next relationship would probably be more possessive than she was with Badger. Only time would tell, of course. One day, the news that her sister, Dapplecreek was pregnant made her feel relatively envious. She was disappointed the she-cat was building a family simultaneously with her; it was always as if Dapplecreek was competing with Sootnose. The behemoth feline wasn't excited for her family, attempting to ignore those unwanted feelings. She didn't understand her jealousy, wanting the emotions to go away. She always thought that jealousy was a loss if she was jealous. Jealousy is a game already lost. Sootnose was losing against her sister, considering her envy. Was there a way to get rid of this feeling? She wasn't sure yet, but maybe there was an escape from this trait she harbored.

Sootnose's kits were soon born; fortunately, Badger was there for the birth of her kittens. Her mate, Badger, suggested that he name one of the kits, and she did as well since two were born. Sootnose grinned, choosing the name, Skunk, for his son, closely resembling a Badger in terms of color. Meanwhile, Badger chose a name close to Sootnose's, proceeding as Charkit, considering she'd take the kit back and tell a story. She planned to explain that she'd found the kitten alone in the territory and would like to take it in as her own, though allow a current queen to nurse so it wouldn't look too suspicious. Sootnose was overjoyed, prepared to see her kits grow. Sootnose would return back to the young kits to feed for about three moons before she'd take Charkit. Sootnose waited for those three more moons, finding the right time to go through with his ideas. One evening, Sootnose went out, slipping away from camp to meet her mate and kits. Little did the dark she-cat know he was being followed by her father, Nightwhisper. For some reason, Nightwhisper grew suspicious of his daughter's absences from the camp, just like Sootnose was suspicious of her father. The suspicion between the two caused frequent arguments and tension, her relationship with her father worsening as the feline aged. Sootnose found her significant other, her father's aroma catching her nose. Sootnose felt panicked, but Nightwhisper stood there before her kits and mate upon turning around. Nightwhisper scowled, disappointed, "Is this where you've been sneaking out? Going against the code and finding the freedom to allow this loner to impregnate you?" He hissed, "I expected better. You should be with someone in the clan, like your sister, mouse-brain!"

Nightwhisper disappeared into thick shrubbery, not to be seen until Sootnose returned to EagleClan camp. When Sootnose was making her return, she didn't see her father anywhere. When questioning her mother about where he went, she could not explain where Nightwhisper had disappeared. Nightwhisper knew of Sootnose's situation. Now what? She wasn't sure about what she would do, desiring to rid of her father's presence. This feeling was a new urge she was unaware of, frightened of whether or not the urge to kill was even a good thing. Her father had been working her nerves recently, causing stress for the achromatic feline, and she despised stress. She could've lost her kits from all the pressure he created within her.

One night, when Sootnose scrutinized for her mate and kits, she had one to the regular place she'd meet them. Before she knew it, she was standing in the pool of blood between her mate, Badger, and daughter, Charkit. Skunk was nowhere to be found. Her visionaries darkened, claws unsheathed. A sudden burst of anger raged through Sootnose like a wildfire, her blood boiling, sparking her adrenaline to rush through her solid, lengthy embodiment. Where are you, dad? She pondered, you're dead now. I will not let you get away with taking my family away from me.

Nightwhisper slipped through the shrubbery, his pelt, maw, and paws blooded from the scenery. Before Sootnose allowed her father to speak, she lunged. It was Midnight by this time. Nightwhisper was utterly shocked by his daughter's reactions, feeling his heavy physique thud against the terra firma. Sootnose gazed down, cocking a nonexistent brow as she laid her unsheathed claws upon her dad's trachea. "I hate you," She stated blandly, vocalizations robotic, "I will ruin you and everyone else. Look at what you've done! You've taken the life of my mate and kits over a pathetic code!"

That being said, Sootnose's right paw raked downward, followed by the left one. She watched as the blood seeped through, her father beginning to struggle. Sootnose sneered, bringing her heavy foundation forward in a swift, fluid movement as she released a blow to Nightwhisper's crania. "Let's hear your last words and breath; tell me, dad, any last words?"

"You're just a disappointment. I have nothing to say to you great to say to you." Nightwhisper spat weakly, "Kill me, see how it feels. You despised me for being strange and uptight, but I've been killing loners and rogues for moons. To see you with one frustrated me, so now, they're dead. I have no remorse, and I hope you suffer."

Sootnose rolled, flipping her father to his abdomen, watching as he slowly bled out. "I hate you!" Claws raked the tom's nape and skull, forming more blood as the skin was lacerated. "Die!" The she-cat scowled, hissing violently as she sunk his incisors into Nightwhisper's nape, shaking vigorously. Nightwhisper was more undersized than Sootnose; the warrior's immense genetics were inherited from Nightwhisper's enormous father. She was relieved he had more prominent genes, making this battle more straightforward. Then again, her father barely struggled. He didn't seem to struggle because he was satisfied with his actions. Any other cat would've put up more of a fight. With that, she was satisfied, but not enough. She was in pain. Sootnose's mate just died tonight, and she looked for more revenge.

Sootnose ascended toward Eagleclan's camp, shoulders slumped as she trekked at a slow, sturdy pace. The feline was in pain. It was clearly due to her facial expression and posture as she snaked along the terrain. Sootnose's bloodied paws trailed slightly, leaving behind paw prints. She quickly passed into the green river, sweeping her gaze for the currents, picking out the weakest ones. She rinsed as she paddled toward the opposing side. She barely spent time with her kits and mate, disappointed she never got to watch them grow and leave to form a family of their own. It wasn't right. She needed her family, and now they were gone. Sootnose hadn't ever felt so lost. It didn't feel right. She felt empty.

Sootnose simpered, a devilish smirk beneath her melancholic emotions as a mask. Once entering camp, he planned to take out his mother and then Dapplecreek's mate and her kits. Sootnose found her mother, explaining that she had found her father dead. Shadepool followed willingly, sorrow creeping up on the mademoiselle already. Once reaching where his mate, kits, and own father were killed, he veered around his mother, sending a frontal blow to the skull. Shadepool stumbled, yowling with fear as her own daughter shifted on her. Considering her mother was relatively diminutive, Sootnose was able to raise and shake the damsel, snapping her neck within moments.

The yowl from Shadepool sent warriors her way, though she hadn't known just yet. Sootnose pivoted another way to get to camp, slipping through the Green River again to rinse any blood. Drenched from the water, Sootnose brought her heavier embodiment to camp; dawn was arriving. At the time, Dapplecreek had been the only queen in the nursery, slipping in and grabbing the kits one by one from the slumbering mother. Dapplecreek had always been a dead sleeper, making this easy for the bloodthirsty molly. Sootnose stopped by the Green River, taking one kit by the nape and submerging him beneath the surface of the crystalline liquid. The sleeping kit began to struggle and wake from the water entering his lungs and nose. Within moments, he was gone.

Sootnose laid the first kit by the river, leaving a hint behind for Dapplecreek to look for Snowkit. Redkit was the hint behind. Sootnose brought the shrieking kit to the scene of bloody, limp bodies. Laying in a circle were Shadepool, Nightwhisper, Badger, Charkit, and soon Snowkit. Snowkit was easy, snapping the kit's neck, allowing her teeth to slip beneath the skin to form blood. With that, Sootnose left the scene, leaving her aroma behind. She didn't feel like being exiled through a chase or escort of warriors. She was curious if death was a punishment for as much as she'd done. She ran for a while, entering SaberClan's territory during Midnight for some time. Unfortunately, the opposing clan sent out a patrol that night, sending her back in EagleClan's direction. She had no time to finish off Dapplecreek, as she'd have to return home before the patrol headed toward Shadepool's yowl found Sootnose. She passed through the Green River yet again, drained from the effort. She swallowed thickly as she figured the smartest thing to do would be to bring home a fish. She could act as though she was fishing by herself...

Sootnose brought home a fish that night, greeting the patrollers as they were rushing home. They checked to see if Sootnose was alive, as they weren't sure who the murderer had been between those deaths. Sootnose's scent had dissipated due to the mint that surrounded the physiques. It masked Sootnose's aroma, though it had faded on the older cadavers. Sootnose would never kill a cat within her clan, ever again, wanting to live out the clan life a bit longer. That night was pure luck. For now, Sootnose would feast her claws amongst longers, rogues, and possibly other clan cats. She's only gotten a few more bodies under her wrath, as there'd been a few she was unable to defeat. Not every cat was going to be simple. She learned a lesson from each attempt, retaining the information to her ability.

She is constantly frustrated and overwhelmed, upset with the stress of losing her family came upon her. Life was unfair. Sootnose wanted to make others feel the same suffering she did when she lost her family. Occasionally, Sootnose would allow one of the family members to survive, sneak and observe their suffering. She had often even got away with murdering behind others' back, going unnoticed. However, Sootnose preferred her name to be known someday. She eventually wanted to be known for being the murderer of families. Sootnose hoped felines would take her murders as a lesson to cherish your family and keep them close. Since the death of her mate and kits, Sootnose devoted her life to teaching families this "lesson," She wanted to ensure she had others living in fear, waiting for the moment she was caught in the act. Sootnose is a strange feline with a frozen, shattered heart. If someone could just...warm her heart up and show her this isn't the way to go, she would be better off. But then again, there's no way she can get rid of her murderous ways now. Or not. But for now, this feline was a killer. Also, little did Sootnose know; she had one part of her family left. Skunk. Skunk was still alive, but where?
