Along the rims of her eyes, she has a mixture of cream and white fur lining bright mint green eyes. She has pretty orange and sorrel fur with cream fur along her belly and neck. The tiny molly also has a white chin and paws, with a mixture of white throughout the patches of cream. SIZE: She's smaller than usual, but still healthy. BUILD: Small and lithe, but evenly muscled. SCARS: She has a small fox bite scar on the middle of her spine. DISABILITIES: None yet. WEAKNESSES: She is overly small in stature, and has minor stiffness in her spine due to her past. STRENGTHS: She's very agile and intelligent, and tends to be a jack-of-all-trades. [PTab= Personality ] Maplekit is a spitfire in all meanings of the word; she's hurt and guarded from the crisis she expierenced as a baby. She's a troublemaker, loves to get herself into all sorts of situations, and thinks a good adventure is the cure to boredom. She doesn't like minding the rules, and, due to not being born in the clan, doesn't really know if she's willing to adhere to the rules yet. She pays close attention to detail, and is strong-willed. Once she decides she's got someone to protect, she takes that very seriously. She's also very loyal once she's secure in her loyalty. Born to two loners roaming the clans' lands, Dawn and Rocky, she and her siblings, Tadpole and Rose, were very much loved by their parents. Dawn and Rocky never stayed in one spot long, but started teaching their kits basic survival habits from a very young age. As loners, they didn't have anyone but their small family to rely on, so dangers like starvation and no shelter were harder to find solutions for. The litter was born on the tail end of the war between the clans, so while skirmishes were still taking place here and there, Rocky and Dawn could relax and not worry about the clanners killing them by mistake on their roaming voyage. For 5 moons they managed to escape attack, until one crucial, fatal mistake was made. They had forgotten about predators. Due to being so worried about the clan cats and their war and fighting, Rocky was hasty to find shelter that would shield them from being mistaken as enemies. This meant that he took his family too close to a fox den one night, which would prove to be the worst mistake of his life. The foxes were inside that fateful day, and burst from their burrows to attack the cat, starving from the harsh, sweltering season that had plagued the prey populations. Dawn and Rocky did their best to fight off the starving beasts, telling their kits to run as hard and as fast as they could, but Tadpole was frozen; only to be snapped up by the larger fox that took care of Rocky fairly swiftly, and Rose made the mistake of looking behind her, which got her caught up in the massacre as well. Maplekit, dubbed River at the time, had taken off immediately at her mother's harsh, desperate command to run, and managed to get far enough away from that area that she escaped after struggling away from the smaller of the two foxes, running off with a small bite to her mid-spine that trailed blood after her as she took off again, barreling her way blindly through the forest of Saberclan with her blood pounding in her little ears and her legs moving as fast as she could make them, deafened to the carniage and horrors that she was leaving behind. When she finally settled down enough her senses returned, she had no time to stop before she burst into a clearing and straight into the chest of Rainstar. The leader had been on patrol with her deputy, Polleneyes, and one of their warriors, Leafcloud, who were all startled to see the small, unknown bengal kit burst from the treeline and stumble into their paws. River started wailing when she pushed off of Rainstar and looked behind her for her siblings, realizing that she had been the only one to get away from the horrific mistake her parents made that evening. She stumbled away from them with a choked sob, and collapsed to the ground, passing out from the stress and exhaustion. Once she regained her senses, she demanded a new name, wanting to shed the name River in an attempt to be her own cat. She took on the name Maplekit to accomplish this, and now resides in the nursery after recovery. Still minorly distrustful, she is still grateful to the patrol for bringing her back to their home and feeding her and keeping her safe, but she's still and uneasy due to her fur being so short compared to a vast majority of her new clanmates.
